Refunds, Cancellations & Credits Policy

Paint N Unwind – South Brisbane

1. Change of mind

Paint N Unwind does not offer refunds for change of mind, including (but not limited to):

  • Deciding not to attend a booked class or event

  • Booking the wrong date, time, or artwork

  • No longer being able to attend due to personal circumstances

This applies to all public classes, private events, hens parties, workshops, and studio hire bookings.

2. Credit policy (in place of refunds)

If you are unable to attend your booked session, we may offer a credit valid for 3 months from the original booking date, subject to the following conditions:

  • You notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled session

  • The credit is used to book another Paint N Unwind class or event

  • Credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be extended beyond 3 months

Credits not used within the 3-month period will expire.

3. Late cancellations & no-shows

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time

  • Failure to attend (no-show)

are not eligible for a refund or credit, as we are unable to rebook the space, materials, and staff at short notice.

4. Private events & hens bookings

For private bookings (including hens parties and corporate events):

  • Payment is required upfront to confirm the booking

  • Bookings cancelled by the client are non-refundable

  • At our discretion, we may offer a 3-month credit if cancellation occurs at least 7 days prior to the event date

Credits issued for private events must be used for a comparable private booking and cannot be redeemed for cash.

5. Australian Consumer Law (QLD compliance)

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a refund, replacement, or remedy if:

  • A service is not delivered with due care and skill

  • The service is not provided as described

  • We cancel a session and cannot offer a suitable alternative

Where required by law, we will provide a refund or appropriate remedy.

6. Cancellations by Paint N Unwind

If we cancel a class or event due to unforeseen circumstances, you may choose:

  • A full refund, or

  • A credit to rebook another session
